I had some pain at the back of my gums and needed to see a dentist immediately, after calling multiple dentists in the area, I stumbled on downtown dental river north and they were able to put me in within that hour. The office itself is very clean with amazing views of the city. The staff is extremely nice and helpful especially since I’m here as a student from Canada! I was seen by Dr. Nairi, and I can’t say enough nice things about her. She was thorough, took the time to explain what she was doing and why she was doing it, explained different options for treatment, and she was very kind! If I have more dental issues I will definitely be returning here!!read more

Awesome experience getting my whitening done! Everyone on the team was great, especially Estella (sp), and really appreciated it.The office is awesome, has great views of Lake Michigan for you to look out on while getting the treatment. Very thorough and organized dental office, from start to finish. Prior to arriving, I had a few questions on the phone which were thoroughly answered by Maggie. Dr. Nairi was excellent, explaining in detail my treatment plan and answering any questions I may have had. Alex was careful and patient when taking my x-rays to ensure all were readable (he had to take a few twice). At check out, Tiffany set up future appointments, answered questions I had about my dental insurance (VA Dental plan), and provided a very smooth check out. All in all, I'm very glad I chose Downtown Dental.read more

Our experience was great from start to finish. We were greeted upon arrival and had to fill out some paperwork as we were first time visitors. After a short wait, we were taken back early. Dr. Jess was amazing with my two-year-old. For most of the visit, he sat back and let her do her thing, which was not the case at previous appointments elsewhere. After he was done, he got to pick out a prize, which made him happy. Checkout was quick and seamless. Everyone was friendly. We will definitely be returning!read more

I think Michelle, the dental hygienist, is the best ever. Iwishh I had been warned of the construction. Opening the door at floor 35 was weird, but kudos to the guy on Stilts. He is amazing. I’m still trying to make sense of the many changes.

I had a fantastic experience! Definitely coming back 😀. The ladies at the front desk - Maggie and Sherry were very sweet and friendly. The hygienist - Michelle was great. It was possiblly the best cleaning I've had. May who took my xrays was very efficient. Dr Priyanka Nairi was very thorough, detail oriented and explained everything really well. She's the best! My entire experience was phenomenal. I was a new patient recently moving here from Louisiana. Danny answered the phone the first time I called & I had a lot of questions. He was very pleasant and patient with me. For me it set the tone & made me feel very comfortable in knowing I would be taken care of in the office. Dr. Chae was absolutely amazing. He answered all of my questions & listened to my concerns. He worked fast although I was not an easy patient. Including the dental assistants, Javi & Moses, I cried real tears & they stood by & held my hand. I would highly recommend!read more

Positive experience in post-COVID world. Plenty of safety precautions, spacing in the lobby, patient timing staggered so no crowding, dentists and techs wearing full PPE. Recommend coming back to the dentist if it’s been awhile. Felt very safe.

Dr. Priyanka Nairi was INCREDIBLE! I loved her. She was thorough and also very personable. I also was so happy to see multiple people of color working here. It was refreshening and inclusive of all folks in different identities. First time in awhile I felt taken care of and cared for by health care professionals. The office implemented social distancing guidelines and mask wearing which made me feel safe. The dental assistant also sanitized everything. They were very thorough! Filters in each room and also hand sanitizer in areas. Two people per elevator. I will return again and recommend to others!read more

Very polite and efficient. First visit here and really felt welcome! They introduced themselves and were not rushing. Explained everything to me and allowed me to ask questions. Explained X-rays and next steps. Gave detailed cost breakdown and no pressure to do anything. Love that! I get to decide!The offices are very clean and everyone wore masks and gloves and gowns or covers. Eye protection for me and them too. I love this dental office, have had a couple different MD's and hygienists but always quality work. The first thing though is when you arrive you're treated to the giant windows that show the incredible view of Chicago and the Lake (and comfy waiting room with a coat closet and refreshments.) I work in a high rise and am still impressed with the view, always makes me happy to be there. They play good music during the visit, always on time, and don't overly pressure add-on services. Also scheduling is always easy, and they are good with reminders. Shout out to my hygienist Brandon!read more

This office is amazing!!! The entire staff is always pleasant & courteous. They go above and beyond to make sure that u are comfortable and satisfied with your services, However, "ANTON" is the absolute best!!! And I am a person that's terrified of going to the dentist. But Anton was so calm and patient with me, He made me feel totally at ease. My deep cleaning was immaculate! Tartar does not stand a chance against Anton! LOL!! I promise, U will not be disappointed! I feel very conformable here , I always feel i am getting taking care of and get reassured about my treatment plan and every step. I do tend to get nervous a lot and they make sure i feel conformable of what is going to happen next . Dr. Grant is amazing patient, and very thorough . She took care of my cavity fills and also took a look at my tooth i needed a root canal and took the time out her day to take a look at it since it has been bothering me. She also helped me out with an appointment the very next day for a root canal since it was getting bad . I really felt she cared for me and took the time to help me out with an appointment with the appropriate doctor to do the root canal on and she did a swell job on my cavity fills, did not feel a thing ! The Downtown Dental staff have been professional every step of the way. There was a mishap with my first appointment that was quickly resolved. There was a last minute email notification to cancel my appointment but I had already arrived so I was attended to right away.I had multiple extractions that were done fairly quickly (under an hour). I had an emergency dental need and to complicate factors I am moving in 3 days out of state permanently. The Downtown Dental team could not have been more accommodating. I called at 8 AM, got an appointment for 9:30 AM, needed a root canal so they gave me a referral with an appointment a couple blocks away for 10:15 AM and was done by 11:45 AM. I was so pleased with my experience, instead of waiting to move for the the permanent filling I went back after the root canal and was able to a schedule an appointment with them tomorrow. A fantastic experience all around!read more

This was by far the best experience I've had at Manus. My first 3 visits I waited over 1/2 hour for a cleaning (no excuse towait that long for a scheduled cleaning. Once I walked out after waiting 55 minutes...) For this appointment I was called on time, my hygienist Anton waspleasant and thorough, and my dentist arrived promptly after my cleaning for a routine exam. I was in and out in an hour, and I reallyappreciated the professionalism that seemed missing for me on previous appointments.read more
