I trust them and know I'm getting the best care possible... Not the same experience at other offices where I'm pretty sure I got unnecessary treatments and dental work. When I couldn't reach my regular practice, I reached out to DD for what turned out to be an emergency crown. I called @ 8am and was in the chair @ 9am. I love my regular practice and have informed standards when it comes to dental care. DD met and exceeded my standards. The office is clean, the staff is super-friendly, and my hygienist and dentist were great at explaining the issue to me with pictures and xrays, explaining the cost, and checking in with me regularly about any pain or discomfort. I was able to get a permanent crown on the spot. If I ever leave my current practice, I would choose DD with no hesitation.read more

I’ve been a patient of Downtown Dental for at least 10 years, after a co-worker spoke of them glowingly, and I’ve had a LOT of dental work done there. Cleanings, fillings, root canals, crowns, implants, you name it, I’ve had it done there. And every time, I’ve been treated politely and with the utmost respect. Everyone there is professional and helpful, always willing to work with me, including when I’m having insurance issues. I’ve seen several dentists and endodontists there and every time the result is the same: great service and great care. I just had my semi-annual cleaning today with Michael and he was great. I have zero complaints about Downtown Dental and I definitely recommend them. Several of my co-workers are now their patients thanks to me.read more

I chipped a tooth and did not have a dentist in Chicago as I loved my dentist, where I used to live, and decided to keep using them. But to fly home just to get a chipped tooth fixed seemed a bit excessive, especially with COVID. I went and started looking for one and saw the excellent ratings from this dentist's office. I have to say I was beyond impressed at how friendly and professional everyone was and how quickly I could get an appointment. I also was impressed to see how the rates were very reasonable and so far seems cheaper than my old dentist in a different state. Like all the other reviews, I highly recommend this dentist's office, and I plan to use them for all my other needs.read more

They also checked in frequently in case I had any questions or concerns for my appointment and with COVID-19 precautions. This dentist office is professional and technologically advanced. Dentistry isn’t super sexy but Downtown Dental does a really great job. The views of the city from most of the chairs are nice. The technology they use to monitor your oral health is great. The staff is nice and helpful. After I moved out of downtown I almost left this practice over the lack of parking but the prospect of finding a comparable dentist was slim. These guys are a premier choice in dentistry.read more

Best dental office I’ve been to across the many cities I have lived in. Special shout out to Dr. Carson, his chair side demeanor and easy to understand explanations... Hardly anyone likes going to the dentist, let alone hearing they need a crown (or worse, a root canal), but he provides a special kind of support and lessens the anxiety I would typically get on a visit to any other office. They do an amazing job at making my teeth look so nice. You do have to pay A $10 Co-vid fee but I was fine with it because they do such a great job each time. For my teeth cleaning, Michael gave me great tips for keeping my teeth healthy and clean. He did a superb job in cleaning my teeth. He was very thorough and explained every step as he went along. Very professional and friendly. :)I had some fillings done earlier in the year with Dr Tosiou and they have been holding up great! The experience with even getting them done was wonderful! Today was an emergency visit for a cracked tooth. As always, I was seen quickly and Dr Borga took the time to make sure I understood the problem and alternative solutions. Downtown Dental is adjusting to Covid-19 like all businesses. I felt like they’ve made reasonable and diligent accommodations to protect the health of their staff and of me as a patient. I also saw a different Hygienist today because of a personnel (maternity) situation. Katie did a great job and made me feel comfortable. The whole experience was very smooth. Life Savers!! Of all the rotten luck to have a dental emergency during the pandemic I’m so thankful Downtown Dental is my Dentist. They were lightening fast at calling me back, prescribing medicine, responding to texts, and finding me an appointment time. I was in excruciating pain and turns out I need a root canal and they were also able to get me in the same day with a specialist. I’m more than impressed and grateful. What a convenient location to hop over during the work day! The office came highly recommended by several colleagues as well as other offices in the same building at 25 E Washington. My overall experience with Downtown Dental Loop, has been extremely positive. Initially contacted them last summer regarding a failed crown from another provider. They replaced the crown quickly and efficiently and at a competitive price. They also recommended I consider replacing another crown on an upper molar which I had been considering anyway. Wonderful overall experience! Dr. Palsis was referred to me by my coworker, and he is by far the best dentist I could ask for. In one day, I had nine crowns done (front teeth), and I couldn't be happier with the results. My teeth are perfectly customized to suit my face, and I can't stop smiling! I have been going to this dentist for around 8-9 years now. I have had the same hygienist, Monica, for the entire time. She’s like an old friend now. The office is clean and they have you in and out quickly. I have had one cavity filled and had two wisdom teeth pulled in the time I’ve been there. Other than that, I have just gone for cleanings every six months. I pay with an HSA and a regular visit is around $170.read more

I really appreciate the team at Downtown Dental. I had a poor experience at a previous provider who told me that I had a ton of cavities and had to do a bunch of unnecessary procedures. The team at Downtown Dental was warm and efficient. They walked me through my X-rays, did my cleaning, gave me some tips, and had me in and out in an hour. I’ve been going to Downtown Dental since 2014. They are quick, efficient, and super friendly. Great people who work in the loop, as they accommodate appointments over lunch. Great choice for anyone looking for a dentist.

I would highly recommend Downtown Dental to anyone! Dr. Carson was absolutely amazing. He talked me through the steps of what would be done during my appointment, answered all my questions, and gave me a bit of knowledge on a particular area of my mouth I had some concerns about. He checked to make sure I was comfortable during the whole experience! I can not recall the name of the dental assistant, but she was also amazing!read more

As a previous patient of Dental Salon and Weller Dental, this is the first dentist I’ve had in Chicago (in 15 years) that is affordable, has almost no wait, and I don’t dread going to. The place is clean, they are quick and thorough with cleanings, and the view from the chair is definitely a plus. I actually started going there when I had to have a root canal and then switched full time thereafter. Highly recommend.read more

Really awesome experience. I had been to a few other dentists after moving to Chicago and never had a good experience until I went to Downtown Dental. From booking the appointment online, confirming my insurance with someone via email then to having the doctor do the cleaning to get to know them, it was all great. Clean. Professional front line staff. The dental hygienist really treat you well, try to be as gentle as possible. But my doctor is the best! He listens, he's patient, he cares. This is also a all in one facility! Win win.

Everyone was very friendly and informative. Dr. Tosiou treated me with respect and the hygienist (Stephanie) put me at ease. My cleaning was better and more thorough than I experienced with my previous dentist. I’m actually looking forward to regularly seeing them.read more

I went in for a root canal with Dr. Young. She was very fast and efficient. Dr. Young also made the procedure painless and made sure to check in about how I was feeling throughout the procedure. Great service! Quick, thorough, and painless. Everybody was pleasant and incredibly competent. I was especially impressed, when discussing procedures I might require, my clinician knew what would be covered by insurance and what wouldn't, and the cost of anything that wouldn't be. Years of no dental insurance left me with a long list of issues. After being dental shamed by another provider, I found myself in pain and in need of help. Downtown Dental in the Loop is everything a Dentist visit should be. Clean, comfortable, and courteous. As far as their teeth cleaning process, they have always been gentle yet efficient.A bonus; you get a great view of the city. They are even mindful enough to provide protective sunglasses if the direct sun is an issue.read more

I enjoyed my first visit to Downtown Dental. I did not have to wait long for my appointment. The dentist took time to explain potential issues with me and give me a plan of action for moving forward to avoid future dental work. I really appreciated the extra effort and time. So thankful for this place. Had what I thought was a dental emergency - I sent them an email Sunday while they were closed and I heard back from them at 8am on the dot Monday morning. They got me into their earliest appointment and it was smooth sailing from there. They took X-rays, ran tests, examined my tooth and told me my options - I felt extremely comfortable. So far I’ve had two fillings and a cleaning. I find the establishment to be quick, professional and efficient without the sticker shock. I appreciate the cleanliness of the office and the friendly courteous staff. I wish they were open on weekends but am okay with taking the latest appointment. Good people but could feel a little impersonal due to its size but I’m hoping that changes as I get to know my Dentist better.read more

I love Downtown Dental! They will make appointments for you by email, location is very convenient, and all the hygienists and doctors have been very pleasant and helpful. I have been coming to Downtown Dental for almost 10 years now and I love this practice. All of the dentists, hygienists, technicians and office staff are all very nice and professional. They always run on time, which is a huge bonus. The office is very clean. They seem to stay updated on their dental technology as well and the cleanings are painless and I don't feel like they're scratching and digging at my teeth endlessly. I had one root canal and the procedure was handled very well and efficiently. I highly recommend this place. I think they only accept PPO dental plans. Good views of the city from their office as a side bonus.read more

Setting up an appointment couldn't be easier and it can be done over email! Barb was super nice and explained everything to me in detail. I didn't feel like I was judged at all.
