Dr. Cummings received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1997 and his Certificate of Periodontics from the University of Iowa in 2000. He is currently engaged in the full time private practice of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and has been for the last 13 years.
Dr. Cummings has been recognized both nationally and internationally for his academic excellence and clinical ability. His research on Peptostreptococcus micros has been published in the Journal of Periodontology. Dr. Cummings has extensive training in all aspects of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and is dedicated to providing patients with the latest treatment in the field. Additionally, Dr. Cummings is certified to provide IV sedation which affords him the ability to treat the most anxious of patients.
Dr. Cummings is dedicated to his family including his wife Tene, daughter McCoy and son Harmon. In his spare time he enjoys working out and cycling.
