Dr. Hala Taha was running her own Orthodontic practice in Lebanon for over four years and teaching Orthodontics part-time when she became an instructor at the Tweed Foundation for Orthodontic Research in Tucson- Arizona. She was asked twice to speak at the American Association of Orthodontists meeting, an honor limited to few international doctors.
During a trip to the US, she met Ali, now her husband, and decided to move permanently to Illinois. She joined the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago as a post-graduate student and fulfilled the requirements for licensure in the US. In 2010, she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, the highest certification an orthodontist can obtain.
Dr. Taha speaks four languages (English, Spanish, French and Arabic) fluently and is very devoted to what she does. She is a dedicated clinician and teacher who enjoys the art and science of Orthodontics.
Dr. Taha resides in Carol Stream with her husband Ali and two children. She loves spending her free time with her daughter Hali, her son Reda. As a family, they enjoy traveling together and learning about new cultures.
