Dr. Jessica Mattern is a board-certified pediatric dentist. Originally from Arizona, she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona, receiving a bachelor of science in Physiology. She earned her D.D.S. at Creighton School of Dentistry, and completed pediatric specialty training at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Mattern has been happy to call Chicago home and has many family members in the Chicago area. She has taught as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in the department of pediatric dentistry and is on staff at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital. Her professional affiliations include; ABPD College of Diplomates, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, the American Dental Association and is on the executive board of the Arcolian Dental Arts Society.
Dr. Mattern is committed to providing her patients with the highest quality of dental care. She strives to make every visit enjoyable and loves to see her patients smile. In her free time, Dr. Mattern enjoys gardening, biking and running. She also has a passion for volunteering and has worked with many organizations including coaching for Special Olympics and participating in Medical/Dental outreach programs through Latin World Ministries.
