Dr.Viren V Patel, DMD Patel is originally from the Chicagoland area. He attended Loyola University of Chicago for his undergraduate degree and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Patel furthered his education and earned his doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Pittsburgh.

While in dental school, he completed an oral surgery externship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He also received the distinguished Senior Student of the year award for his excellent clinical skills from the Academy of General Dentistry. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Patel did a general practice residency at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN.

At the VA Hospital, along with the Indiana University Medical Center, Dr. Patel further trained in advanced dental care for the medically compromised; with focus on cancer patients, operating room oral surgery cases, and comprehensive patient care. Dr. Patel continues to study innovations in dentistry with an effort to maintain the highest standard of care. Dr Patel is also invisalign certified for clear braces.

Dr. Patel is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois Dental Society. He is also a Board Certified Dentist with training in Nitrous Oxide sedation.
